SevenPlay Casino Games

Registration took me four minutes, and my first spin followed a minute later. I counted about 1,200 slots in the lobby, plus around 90 table games, 40 live dealer tables and a handful of instant-win titles. SevenPlay Casino games run on software from NetEnt, Microgaming and Playtech, so the big names sit alongside smaller studios you may not recognise. Slots dominate the menu, though the live section took more of my evenings than I expected.

How to Play SevenPlay Casino Games Online

You need five steps to go from the homepage to your first spin.

• Click Register on the homepage and enter your name, email address, date of birth and a password. The confirmation link reached my inbox within a minute.
• Open the account settings before you deposit. You can set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude, and the page links to BeGambleAware and GamStop for further support. Setting a £50 weekly limit took me thirty seconds.
• Go to Banking and pick a method. The list includes Visa and Mastercard debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Phone and Open Banking transfers. UK rules ban credit cards for gambling, so don't try one. The minimum deposit was £10, and my debit card payment landed in my balance straight away.
• Return to the lobby and use the category tabs or the search bar. Typing a title into the search bar beat scrolling every time.
• Contact support through live chat or email. Live chat answered my bonus question in under two minutes, while email took most of a day.

Withdrawals need ID. SevenPlay Casino asks for a passport or driving licence and a recent proof of address, and my first cashout sat in pending for 24 hours until I uploaded both. Upload them on day one and you skip the wait. If you claim the welcome bonus, check the 35x wagering: a £20 bonus means £700 of bets before you can withdraw it.

SevenPlay Casino Slots Overview

I spent most of my first week on SevenPlay Casino slots and never ran out of options. Classic fruit machines sit next to feature-heavy video slots, and the jackpot section includes Mega Moolah from Microgaming. NetEnt supplies Starburst, which returns 96.09% over the long run, and Playtech supplies Age of the Gods.

Stakes on SevenPlay Casino online slots start at 10p a spin. Most video slots cap at £100 a spin, and each progressive jackpot title sets its own limits. Most slots offer a demo version, so I tested a high-variance Megaways title with play money, found it brutal and skipped it with real money.

SevenPlay Casino slots online run in a mobile browser with no app download. I played on an iPhone over 4G and saw no stutter on the 3D titles, though the paytable text ran small on my screen. The lobby filters slots into five types:

• Classic Slots: three reels and a single payline, with simple rules
• Video Slots: five reels, bonus rounds and free spins
• Progressive Jackpot Slots: a shared prize pool that grows with every bet
• 3D Slots: animated characters and cinematic bonus scenes
• Branded Slots: games built on films, bands and TV shows

Is 1,200 slots too many? It was for me. I wasted an hour scrolling before I starred my favourites, so use the favourites button on day one.

SevenPlay Casino Table & Card Games

Blackjack gives you the most control. You beat the dealer by getting closer to 21 without going over, and basic strategy cuts the house edge below 1% on standard tables. SevenPlay Casino also offers Spanish 21, which removes the tens from the deck and changes which hands you hit or stand on.

Roulette comes in European and American versions. European wheels have a single zero and a 2.7% house edge, while American wheels add a double zero and raise the edge to 5.26%. I stayed with European. Automated spins last about 30 seconds, so £1 chips disappear faster than you expect.

Baccarat asks for one decision: banker or player. The hand closest to nine wins. Punto Banco is the main version, with fixed drawing rules, so you never choose to hit or stand. Banker bets pay 19-to-20 after a 5% commission.

Table limits start at £1, which suits a small budget. The variant list is shorter than at the largest UK operators, and I found no Pontoon table.

Live Dealer Games at SevenPlay Casino

The live section runs blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables with real dealers streaming in HD. I sat at a roulette table at 9pm on a Friday, and the dealer greeted me by username within seconds of my first bet. Streams held steady on home broadband, and the chat box worked on every table I tried.

• Real-time chat with professional dealers
• HD streams with no buffering on my 50 Mbps broadband
• Blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables from several studios
• Studio sets built to look like casino floors
• Desktop and mobile play from your sofa

Peak hours bring a downside. The £5 minimum blackjack seats filled after 8pm, and I waited four minutes for a space. Live roulette has no seat limit, so you can always join a table. If you want the feel of a casino floor, SevenPlay Casino games from the live studios deliver it.

Instant-Win & Specialty Games

These casino games at SevenPlay Casino finish in seconds, which suits a five-minute break. The lobby groups scratch cards, keno and bingo under one tab.

Scratch cards cost from 20p. You pick a card, click or swipe to reveal the panels, and you know within seconds whether you won.

Keno has you pick up to ten numbers from 80, and the game draws 20. Your payout scales with how many numbers match and how much you stake. I found two keno variants, fewer than I wanted.

Bingo rooms run 90-ball games with a chat host, and tickets start at 10p. The rooms with the biggest jackpots fill in the evening, so a lunchtime visit finds quieter rooms.

Most slots also offer demo versions, so you can test a game before you stake £1.

SevenPlay Casino added three new scratch cards during my month of testing, so the instant-win tab changes more often than the table section.
